Hello!

My name is Tammi and I am the creative behind Sticky Situations. Welcome!

I am a self taught baker, girl boss, wife and mama with an over the top obsession for delicious treats. Y’all! I am that girl! You know, the one who picks dessert before the entree! Life is short people!! Eat Dessert! But only if it is yummy dessert. Spit out yucky and flavorless dessert. Nothing makes me sadder (is that even a word?) than bitting into a beautiful dessert and having it NOT be the party in you’re mouth you were expecting!

Ok..back to business! I originally started Sticky Situations in 2016 kinda on accident. I had a super stressful big girl job. I was an event coordinator. In 2017 CNBC put out a list of the top 10 most stressful jobs in America. Event Coordinator ranked 5th landing just below Police Officer (#4). The struggle is real friends. Anyway…

I stress bake. I always have.

There is just something about baking that slows everything down and allows my overthinking brain to just rest and recharge. I could, and have, spent entire days just trying out new recipes or putting a tasty spin on old ones!

The only problem with my baking addiction is my family. They don’t really like cake. I usually end up throwing away cup cakes that have turned into bricks or cookies that could be put into museums they are so stale!

One day, just before Easter, I had been busy baking cup cakes when my daughter, Hailee Rose, and my husband, Eric, began making fun of me for always being so “extra”. In a revolt I posted a picture on Facebook and asked if anyone wanted one because “I was not about to share these with the punks I live with”! I was completely shocked at the amount of people who offered me money for them and so began Sticky Situations.
